Odisha, due to it`s unique geo-climatic and socio-economic conditions, is vulnerable, in varying degrees, to
floods, droughts and cyclones.
We through our trained volunteers undertook rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures during the minor
disaster in the year under report.
We organised workshops having the objectives of sharing of experiences and lessons learnt, long term
mitigation measures and future course of action for disasters.
We provided support to the Govt, machineries at the time of natural calamities.
Conducted 4 disaster management training programmes at Kujanga, Aul, Rajnagar, Astaranga.
Overall we undertook the activities such as providing relief, temporary shelter, medical emergency, debris
removal and trauma counselling.
